Course Overview

The Environmental Chemistry and Microbiology online course aims to sensitise candidates on the environmental problems and how learning the facets of microbiology and environmental chemistry can help overcome it. The course is for both undergraduate and postgraduate level students.

The Environmental Chemistry and Microbiology certification syllabus includes major topics from environmental chemistry like chemical equilibria, reaction kinetics, basic concepts of chemistry, acidity, alkalinity, acids, and bases.

Other core topics covered include nuclear chemistry, nitrogen chemistry, carbonate system, chlorination, to name a few. On the other hand, the microbiology concepts covered in the curriculum include viruses, microbial growth, pathogens, microbial diversity, protozoa, algae, and the like.

Besides, the Environmental Chemistry and Microbiology certification by Swayam is taught by two eminent professors with a wide range of experience in the field, namely Prof. Anjali Pal and Prof. Sudha Goel. The programme consists of weekly assignments and a final assessment to check the candidates' progress.
