For anyone who is curious in venturing into the original manuscripts relating to different subjects from the conventional Indian knowledge systems, Sanskrit knowledge is very beneficial. However, this language is also perceived to many as a difficult language to learn and, moreover, as a classical language of the past that is not of particular significance in the modern age.
The purpose of this Intermediate Level of Spoken Sanskrit programme is to give candidates a more extensive base of Sanskrit as a distinct language. The programme will lead them to more grammatical constructs that will promote their comprehension of simple texts as well as enable them to use it in everyday life. This also intends to give candidates a better understanding of the beauty of Sanskrit language's various facets, from its sounds to its rich material, such that they feel sufficiently excited to dive more into it.
This Intermediate Level of Spoken Sanskrit programme is an undergraduate level programme that lasts for 8 weeks. SWAYAM grants the learning free of charge to the candidates. For the final proctored test, which is for the qualification, the money will be required.
