Course Overview

Matrix method of Structural Analysis program provided by SWAYAM is a continuation of the structural analysis 1 course. During the time span of the course, candidates shall learn about the concepts and methods of structural analysis and also learn about its application procedure regarding its different components of the structure, with the progress of the course.

Matrix method of Structural Analysis program provided by SWAYAM will act as a supporting tool between the structural analysis 1 i.e. the first part of structural analysis and gradually move on to the topics of finite element method.

Matrix method of Structural Analysis also deals with the concepts of determinate and indeterminate structures, flexibility and stiffness alongside analysis of beams, preliminaries, force and displacement methods.

During the time span of the course, candidates will also be tested regularly to keep a close check on their understanding and knowledge gained from the Matrix method of structural analysis course. These learnings will also include concepts of advanced elements of structural analysis. The sessions will cover the matrix method of analysis too using the finite element method.
