The Quality Design and Control online program aim to teach the fundamental concepts, ideas, and statistical techniques used in quality assurance. You will study statistical process control, acceptance sampling, design for reliability, quality improvement through the Taguchi Method, and more.
Throughout the Quality Design and Control course duration, you will explore methods including process capability analysis, robust designing, quality management, and control, etc. employed in service and manufacturing organizations. This 12-week-long online training is an AICTE-approved Faculty Development Programme (FDP).
The Quality Design and Control certification course is a joint effort for undergraduate/postgraduate studying by Swayam and the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. It also features vast industry support from IT companies, Tata Steel, L&T, Tata Motors, and similar entities. There are no minimum criteria to join the Quality Design and Control online course.
Besides, you must achieve a minimum of 40% marks as the final score to become eligible to receive the Quality Design and Control certification. The final assessment score gives a 25% weightage to the average assignment marking (best eight out of 12) and a 75% weightage to the written exam score. Securing >=10/25 in average assignment marks and >=30/75 on the test are compulsory to get the certificate.

Step 2 – Opt for the ‘Sign-in/Register’ button near the top and reach the registration page.
Step 3 – Sign in through your Swayam ID or linking either of these accounts - Facebook, Google, or Microsoft (if you have one). Alternatively, select ‘Sign up now’ to provide your required details and create a new profile for enrolling.
Step 4 – Get your activation code by selecting ‘send verification code’. Fill it in and choose ‘create’ to finish admission.

No application form filling is compulsory to obtain admission in the Quality Design and Control training. Visit the SWAYAM website, register for an account, fill in the essential details like email address, password, username, etc., and enrol in the course.
The Quality Design and Control certification’s written test commence on the date specified on the SWAYAM portal. Students can undertake it in two different shifts (morning and afternoon) at designated exam centers across the country. The morning session will be from 9 am to 12 pm, and the afternoon one from 2 pm to 5 pm.
