Course Overview

The Carbon Materials and Manufacturing Online Course is focused on the structure-property relationship and preparation of different carbon materials for the purpose of device manufacturing. The course contents are designed in a way that each type of carbon is taught in a “material-manufacturing pair”. All the topics will be covered, pertaining to the properties of various carbon allotropes, raw materials, carbon fibers and composites, carbon nanomaterials,  crystallinity and hybridization, and bulk industrial carbons.

This course is mainly intended for the degree holders in advanced B.Tech./ M.Tech. M.E./ Ph.D. from materials/ manufacturing/energy sciences. The Carbon Materials and Manufacturing Training has high industrial relevance. Eligibility Criteria

Education

The individuals willing to take the Carbon Materials and Manufacturing Course must have completed undergraduate covering material science for engineers or structure of materials. They must have completed a basic material science course with a description of crystal systems.

Certification Qualifying Details

If the aspirants require a certificate of completion then they need to appear in an end-term proctored examination. They need to clear it with a 25% average in 8 out of 10 assignments. They must secure 75% marks too in exams to pass it.
