Course Overview

The Mechanical Measurement Systems program is a core course designed by IIT Roorkee. This program is an undergraduate and postgraduate-level course under the category of mechanical engineering and will be conducted over eight weeks. Prof Ravi Kumar from IIT Roorkee will be instructing the course.

The Mechanical Measurement Systems certification offers necessary information about statistical analysis of experimental data and mechanical measurement systems. The course introduces general functional and configuration elements of measuring systems. Candidates will also learn about the dynamic and static features of measuring instruments. Instrumentation of strain, torque, velocity, displacement, flow, sound, temperature, and flow measurements is also covered.

The Mechanical Measurement Systems training is spread over forty lectures which are approximately 30 minutes long. Candidates will have to answer practice assignments throughout the course and submit them for revaluation. There will be a final exam conducted for the e-certificate, and the interested candidates can appear for the same.
