Course Overview

Operations and production improvement is one of the foremost aims of any facility. The Production and Operation Management program is an introductory course in management studies. It talks about various aspects of operations management such as supply chain, forecasting, optimization of material management, lot sizing, etc. Candidates will be introduced to multiple operations and productivity improvement techniques such as Just in Time (JIT), Kanban, Lean operations, Six Sigma, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

The production and Operation Management program does not have any prerequisites to join the course.  

To become eligible for the certificate, candidates must submit all the assignments and score at least 30/75 in the final exam. The best score received on 8/12 assignments will be averaged to calculate the assignment marks. Candidates should get more than 10/25 in assignments. Their final score must be above 40/100

Evaluation process

There are multiple steps to obtaining the Production and Operation Management training certification once the payment has been made. Participants need to submit all the periodic assignments, and they will be scored on each of them. The average score of the best eight assignments will determine their assignment score. 

There will be an offline proctored examination where candidates need to score a minimum of 30/75. The exam center will be announced beforehand. 

The final score will be calculated based on the summation of the assignment score and the exam score. Candidates who fulfill the abovementioned criteria and score above the final passing mark of 40/100 will be awarded the certificate.
