Course Overview

The Theory of Production Processes programme aims to give its candidates a good understanding of the science behind the primary production processes, which are, casting, forming, and welding. It will teach you how each procedure takes place and how the products are finally manufactured and the basic principles behind these processes.

Swayam’s Theory of Production Processes course will provide its candidates with awareness about the theoretical aspects of several manufacturing processes that are included in any Production process course. The course has been divided into three modules, each to be completed in 4 weeks. Thus, you can complete the course in around 12 weeks.

Moreover, the Theory of Production Processes programme offered by Swayam is an online course for undergraduates. It is a core course, under the Manufacturing processes and technology category. All course material, including video lectures, readings, quizzes, and tests can be accessed for free by the candidate. Professor Pradeep Kumar Jha teaches it from IIT Roorkee.
