Course Overview

Two-phase flows are encountered in various industrial processes such as nuclear reactor technology, chemical processes, power generation, food production, automotive industries and aerospace. That is why the  Two-Phase Flow and Heat Transfer programme will provide a thorough understanding of two-phase flows with and without phase change.

Two-Phase Flow and Heat Transfer certification is a four-week elective course that is approved by AICTE as an FDP course. This is an online course wherein the course material will be available on Swayam, the online learning platform. The syllabus of this course has been curated by the faculty of the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in association with NPTEL.

Two-Phase Flow and Heat Transfer is a UG/PG course in mechanical engineering. The course will be taught by Dr Arup Kumar Das of IIT Roorkee. The course also offers certification. You need to have knowledge of fluid mechanics and heat transfer to be able to comprehend this course completely.
