User Interface Design programme is an AICTE approved Faculty Development Programme or FDP course. In this course, you will learn about various aspects of user interface design, with special attention given to virtual media platforms. This programme was designed keeping in mind the emerging paradigm of human-machine interaction in the industrial design pedagogy.
In the User Interface Design certification course, you will understand the user experience and cognition, using contemporary technology like eye tracking, and learn to design a user interface using a methodological approach. Professor Saptarshi Kolay has developed the course curriculum from IIT Roorkee in association with NPTEL.
User Interface Design training is an undergraduate/postgraduate programme in the field of Architecture and Planning. It is a four-week online course delivered through live instructor-led sessions. There is no enrollment fee to join the course. You can also take advantage of the optional exam to secure a course completion certification from this course.

Certificate Qualifying Details
You need to meet specific marks criteria to obtain the User Interface Design certificate by Swayam and IIT Roorkee. The final score should be equal to 25% of the average assignment score and 75% of the exam score. Besides, Swayam uses three of the best assignment scores to calculate your average assignment score. You must secure passing scores of 10/25 in the assignments, 30/75 in the exam, and a combined score of 40/100 to obtain the e-certificate.

You can join the User Interface Design by Swayam classes through these steps:
Step 1: Go to the Swayam online portal here: https://swayam.gov.in/, and click on ‘Sign-in/Register’.
Step 2: Use appropriate account details to sign-up or sign in.
Step 3: Run a search for ‘User Interface Design’ in the search box.
Step 4: Check if the course is available in the open enrolment column. If it is, click on the ‘Join’ tab to complete the procedure.
The User Interface Design programme has a sign-up form for course registration. You need to go to the Swayam website to access the sign-up form. You will need an email address, a unique username, and a password for this. Swayam will verify your email address using a code.
