About IAR Gandhinagar

The Institute of Advanced Research, Gandhinagar was established in 2006 by the Puri Foundation for Education in India. IAR Gandhinagar was established to provide advanced research and education in the field of Science and Engineering. Institute of Advanced Research, Gandhinagar is a state-private university recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). IAR Gandhinagar was granted university status in 2011 by the Government of Gujarat under the Gujarat Private Universities Amendment Act, 2011.

The Institute of Advanced Research offers courses in the fields of Engineering, Science, Commerce, Management, Arts and Research. The various courses offered by the Institute of Advanced Research are B.Tech, B.B.A, B.Sc. (H), B.A., M.Sc., M.B.A, M.Tech and Ph.D. For admission to the courses, candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria and follow the admission process. Admission to the courses are done as per the guidelines of ACPC Gujarat. Institute of Advanced Research accepts scores of GUJCET for B.Tech, GAT-B for M.Sc. Biotechnology, CMAT for M.B.A, and GATE for M.Tech programme admission.

IAR Gandhinagar Scholarship

Institute of Advanced Research provides many scholarships to the meritorious and needy aspirants. IAR Gandhinagar scholarships are Financial Assistance and Merit Scholarship Scheme. Candidates at the Institute of Advanced Research can also avail scholarships like Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojna. Under this scheme, candidates should have minimum 80% marks in 10+2. To avail the Financial Assistance, candidates should be pursuing a full-time programme, except B.Tech/M.Tech/M.B.A/Ph.D at IAR Gandhinagar.

Another requirement of this Institute of Advanced Research scholarship scheme is that candidates’ annual family income should be less than Rs. 2 lakhs. For the Merit Scholarship Scheme, candidates should be pursuing undergraduate/postgraduate programmes, except B.Tech/M.Tech/M.B.A/Ph.D and must have scored more than 85% in 10+2 or more than 80% at graduation level. The detailed eligibility criteria for Institute of Advanced Research scholarships are given in the table below.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is small but beautiful . Campus has all our primary required things like water cooler , most of books are covered by library. Every type of games and playground for football , volleyball .
