A basic understanding of Structural Analysis and engineering mathematics is necessary to excel in the Structural Dynamics program. 

Certification Qualifying Details

Besides, Swayam offers course certificates to all eligible candidates. You must submit all the 12 in-course assignments on time and take the certification exam towards the course end. Your final score will be determined by adding 75% of your certification exam score and 25% of your average assignment score.

Swayam will calculate your average assignment score using eight assignments with the best marks. Moreover, your final score for the Structural Dynamics course must be >= 40/100 while the average assignment score >= 10/25 and exam score >= 30/75.

Evaluation process

Marks obtained in the proctored Structural Dynamics certification exam will comprise 75% of your final score. The exam will be conducted offline in Swayam's designated exam centers in two shifts. The morning shift will be from 9 AM to 12 noon, and the afternoon shift will be from 2 PM to 5 PM. More details about the same will be available on the portal after the exam date announcement.

1: Is the certification exam mandatory?

No. You need to take the exam only if you want the Structural Dynamics certificate.

2: Can postgraduates join the course?

Yes. Since the course is provided at the UG level, postgraduates can also join. 

3: Will if I fail the certification exam?

In that case, you will not receive the course certificate.
