72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Food and Fermentation Technology is six years program offered by School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Technology at the Solapur University, Solapur.
Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Candidates shall have a Masters Degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to Masters degree by the corresponding statutory body, with atleast 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent Grade B in the UGC 7-point scale. The University shall admit Ph.D. students through an Entrance Test comprising of 2-stage selection process to be conducted at the School level.
NET-JRF/Individual Fellowship holders/Project Fellows will be preferred for admissions in Ph.D. programs.
