Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Gurajada (JNTUGV) is the new state university in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh which was established on the year 2022. This is a young institution which has reflected its intentions of expanding the frontiers of technical education by presenting a variety of 25 courses within four degree programs. JNTUGV is accredited by the University Grants Commission of India which means it delivers its educational programs based on the country’s standards. It is situated at Dwarapudi, on NH-43 road, making the environment of the university suitable for learning as well as innovations. JNTUGV has a full range of facilities to help facilitate the students’ learning process and make the academic experience more productive. 

The university library College may contain a broad amount of research materials and knowledge to enhance on academics. In terms of getting practical experiences the institution contains well equipped departmental laboratories so that student can put into practical uses all the theories that they have understood. There is an auditorium for event and seminar purposes to enhance the aspects of the campus’ academic environment. The university that was established offers 25 courses where some are undergraduate and the others are postgraduate. At undergraduate level, JNTUGV provides B.Tech programs in conventional branches of engineering including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & telecommunication Engineering. The university also remains relevant to modern technology, which provides B.Tech programs in some of the most modern fields, including; Artificial intelligence, Data science, IoT, and Cybersecurity. For the postgraduate students there are M.Tech courses offered at JNTUGV and the specialised area include Advanced Power Systems, Thermal Engineeringand Computer Science and Engineering etc. For the readers who are interested in more computing, this institution also has an MCA programme. All faculties at JNTUGV are full time to ensure that students are accordedropriate education and training in their respective  fields. 

The admission at JNTUGV follows equity and merit hence, any qualified candidate should be given a chance to educate himself/herself. The B.Tech programs admissions are offered through AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test). Overall this is a state level test designed to test the aptitude of the candidates in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and is used a significant benchmark for engineering admissions in the Andhra Pradesh state. The admission for future M.Tech students is done through the GATE score or the AP PGECET, the Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test. Regarding the MCA program, admission through AP ICET, the Andra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test is followed. These diverse entrance pathways help in making sure that JNTUGV enrols bright students from variousareas of the society.
