The Inclusive Online Teaching Teach-Out course is designed for individuals who want to learn about inclusive pedagogy and inclusion concepts to become certified teachers. The 5 hours of lectures in the Inclusive Online Teaching Teach-Out classes explain the barriers to learning, such as institutional racism, physical limitations, and a loss of motivation. After completing the Inclusive Online Teaching Teach-Out certification course, individuals will gain a comprehensive understanding of the principles of inclusion and will learn about the fundamental concepts of inclusive teaching and inclusive pedagogy. Individuals will learn about numerous communication and learning barriers as well as discover the universal design for learning concepts to address the learning barriers. Individuals will learn about strategies for incorporating active learning into learning experiences and will acquire the skills for creating learning objectives and assessment strategies.
