Course Overview

The Probability and Probability Distributions certification course is taught by Dr P Nagesh, author of 22 international refereed journals. He is currently working at the Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering in Mysore. Thus, students joining the course as amateurs in the probability domain are sure to gain mastery over the concepts.

Spread over 12 weeks, this elective programme is an undergraduate-level course. From permutations and combinations to probability and concept of random variables to variance and standard deviations, the Probability and Probability Distributions certification syllabus covers it all. The curriculum, divided into weekly modules, also includes practical applications of addition and multiplication theorem and Bayes theorem.

The Probability and Probability Distributions training also enhances the students’ understanding by helping them polish their concepts via in-course assessment tests. Besides, the course also offers its learners the chance to obtain a certification which can be done by taking the end-term examination.  Moreover, students are also eligible for a credit transfer.
