24 MonthsMaster of Science Nurse Practitioner Critical Care is two years full-time course offered by Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Deemed University, Karad.
“A candidate shall be eligible for admission to Post Graduate Degree, if he has completed one year teaching or clinical experience after passing the Final B. Sc. Nursing /B. Sc. Hons. Nursing and B. Sc Nursing (Basic) Examinations with 55% aggregate marks. Minimum one year experience prior or after Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing (i.e. after GNM Course) will be considered. The candidate should be registered with the State Nursing Council.”
ii) Candidate shall possess a registered B Sc nurse with a minimum of one year clinical experience, preferably in any critical care setting prior to enrollment.
iii) 5% relaxation in passing marks for SC/ST candidates may be given.
iv) No person shall be registered for the Post Graduate Degree course unless such a person is in a position to work as a full time Resident student for the period applicable in the case.
v) The candidate will be selected according to the existing rules and regulations prescribed by the INC/MNC.
vi) The number of students registered will be in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Indian Nursing Council and shall be selected strictly on the basis of their academic merit OR as per the directions of the Indian Nursing Council.
vii) The academic merit, for admission to degree courses shall be on the basis of merit as determined by the Krishna All India Entrance Test conducted by the University on all India basis OR as per the directions of the Indian Nursing Council.
Provided further that minimum percentage of marks for eligibility for admission to Post Graduate Course shall be 50% at the entrance test.
viii) Student, so selected for admission to Master of Nursing Science course in the constituent college of the University, shall process recognized B. Sc. Nursing degree or its equivalent thereto, qualification and should have obtained permanent registration of the any State, Nursing Council in India should obtain the same within one month from the date of his / her admission, failing which the admission of the candidate shall be cancelled.
ix) The registered student shall undergo, under the approved supervisor, a regular course of study and research (including Practical Training, if any) in a Constituent College affiliated for the course of study for the requisite examination for the minimum period specified in the bye - law.
