Maharani Cluster University, Bengaluru (MCU) is one of the university’s in the state of Karnataka, established in 2019. This women only institution is located in an area of 11.6 acres and is accredited with the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is also approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). At present, MCU provides 74 courses in 12 degree programmes for about 4,200 student enrolments. The university also has 238 members of faculty staff which are important in maintaining the student teacher ratios to facilitate standard education.

The university has advantages of optimum facilities for effective academic deliver and achievements. The library is located in the centre of the campus and owns thousands of books and journals, printing and electronic versions copied for every student and faculty member. Internet connection to more than 20 000 full text electronic journals and many e-books to improve teaching and learning. For sports enthusiasts, MCU facilities are greatly featured which encompasses an athletic field with a 400 meters race track, additional multi-purpose grounds, and a well-equipped players’ shed, gym. A canteen for students and staff, an auditorium for functions and seminars, and health centre complete with first aid services are also available on the campus.

MCU provides education in Arts, Commerce, Management & Sciences stream. The university offers both the conventional and popular courses to cater for the needs of the students and the relevant markets. Some of the most sought programmes are B.Com (1000 seat intake), B.B.A (240 seats), and B.Sc (Computer Science)-300 students. The university also provides postgraduate courses like M.Com, MBA and different courses in M.Sc in Biochemistry, Microbiology and Mathematics etc.
