The procedure to apply for NMAT retake is to go to the website and to go to the Retake tab in the dashboard of thecandidate's account. You also have to wait for around 15 days before you can retake the the NMAT exam which is twice during the 74 days test window.

189 marks in NMAT is not sufficient to get admission into NMIMS Mumbai. You need to score 220+ . After that you can expect that you can get admission into NMIMS. As the mumbai campus is best campus of NMIMS that is why the cutoff for this will go even higher.

My advice for you will be that prepare again and practise hard. Appear in this exam again and ace the NMAT with high scores.

The selection criteria of NMIMS for MBA is that you much clear NMAT( NMIMS Management Aptitude Test ) exam then give CD (Case Discussion) and PI(Personal Interview ) then the college administration will release final admission merit list based on your performance in NMAT ,CD ,PI ,past academic record and your work experience .

Weightage of different aspect considered by NMIMS authorities are :

• NMAT exam :70%
• CD :10%
• PI :10%
• Academic background (class 10,12 and graduation)=5%
• Work experience :5%

You must also have 50% in your bachelors degree from a college recognized by the government of India.

But the college give about 70% weightage to entrance exam and the other 30% weightage is for the gd, pi, and work experience. So if you have very good and exceptional achievement in any extra curricular activities then you can even get call at low score. Yes, You can get admission in NMIMS MBA without any work experience. It is not mandatory to have a work experience. While admission NMAT only considers admission stage criteria and cut off marks that you have achieved in NMAT exam.

Best of Luck and don't bother about work experience. Just achieve good marks in NMAT and fulfill their eligibility criteria , you are good to go for NMIMS.
