About NIT Goa
National Institute of Technology Goa (NITG) is a government-funded institution that was established in the year 2010. NIT Goa is an autonomous college and functions under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
NIT Goa offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes in various specialisations of engineering, humanities, and many others. Courses offered at the National Institute of Technology Goa include B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D.
Before applying for admission to NIT Goa, the candidates should appear for the relevant entrance examination. NIT Goa admission to the B.Tech programme is based on their JEE Main marks and must undergo JoSAA counselling, which is going on. National Institute of Technology Goa is located on the north side of Goa at a plateau named Farmagudi, Ponda. The campus is at a distance of around 29 kilometres from the southeast of Panaji, the capital of Goa. Facilities are good but the thing I like is the Wi-Fi. It used to work with quite good speed.Classrooms are very good. Library is very good. A lot of sitting capacity is there with ACs and around 1-3 lakh books are there in it.

The hostel rooms are provided with a table, chair, B.Ed. wardrobe, and many other small things. The hostel also provides us with the facility of Wi-Fi, which enhances the education of the students. The facility of the meal is also quite good and offers us a wide range of meals for carbohydrate, protein, and vitamin intake, which is very crucial for health.

There are 10-12 facilities each semester, the quality of food in mess is good and canteen has variety of food for light snacks. There is a huge ground for sports with football a student activity centre, basketball court, tennis court, badminton and table tennis. There is Wi-Fi, labs, library, study rooms, etc.

The placement cell of the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Goa, is active. The institute is now doing its placement drive for 2022, and its highest CTC to far is INR 44 LPA. Every pupil was assigned. The placement drive attracted 179 students from over 128 firms.
Released is the 2021 placement report's final analysis. A B.Tech student accepted Goldman Sachs' offer for the highest CTC, which was INR 20 LPA. The highest CTC for M.Tech was INR 14.3 LPA.
During the placement drive, employers including Goldman Sachs, Samsung, TCS, Infosys, Mphasis, and others offered employment offers to the students.
