About NLU Kochi
The establishment of the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NAULS) Kochi was in the year 2005 by the Kerala State Legislature Act. The NAULS Kochi is spread over an area of 10 acres of land. The courses at NUALS Kochi include BA LLB (H), PGD, LLM, and PhD and it offers various specialisation courses.
Interested candidates should meet the eligibility criteria of the courses at NUALS Kochi. For admission to the programmes, candidates have to follow the university admission process. The candidate has to appear for the CLAT examination before applying for NUALS Kochi PG admissions. The NUALS Kochi admissions will be based on the entrance examination scores and qualifying examination scores.
The placement cell at NUALS Kochi organises multiple activities under the placement training programme. The median salary offered to undergrdauate students in 2023 was Rs 15 LPA as per the NIRF report 2024. Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarships available at NUALS Kochi offered by UGC.

Students at the National University of Advanced Legal Studies can avail scholarships like PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child, PG Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST Students for Pursuing Professional Courses, Ishan Uday - Special Scholarship Scheme for North Eastern Region and PG Scholarship for University Rank Holders (Ist and IInd Rank Holders), etc. These are the University Grants Commission (UGC) scholarships.

The infrastructure of our college is very good. All the buildings are fairly new and very comfortable. There are smart classes in every room in the academic block. Every hostel room has an attached bathroom. Food is of very good quality, but the menu is overwhelmingly south Indian.

Among all the 22 NLU's of India , NLSIU Bangalore ranks as the number one law school offering prestigious education and high placements . NUALS ranks 11th among the NLU's .
