Course Overview

M&A: Concepts and Theories online course will take you through all the strategic processes in a merger and acquisition, such as a foundation in strategy, finding a deal, corporate valuation, regulation, and much more. You will dive into topics such as different buyer strategies, how to begin an acquisition process, identifying successful acquisitions, and how a merger and acquisition can add to business value. 

M&A: Concepts and Theories by edX will be taught by the esteemed and expert faculty of NYIF Jeff Hooke. He is an NYIF faculty member and has over three decades' worth of experience in private equity, corporate valuation and investment banking. This is an intermediate course in Business and Management and requires a weekly effort of one to two hours a week.
