Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sociology is a full-time research course offered by Om Sterling Global University, Hisar. This course duration is 3 years, the student has to finish this timeline to obtain a Ph.D. degree.  


Eligibility Criteria

  • A candidate seeking admission to the Ph.D. program must have secured at least 55% marks in a Master’s Degree or equivalent to a Master’s degree as per UGC regulations. A relaxation of 5% of marks is allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories.
  • The candidates will also be required to qualify for the entrance test with at least 50% marks.

Admission Details

The final merit list of candidates will be prepared by the DRC and submitted to the Vice Chancellor for approval. All admissions will be done on a merit basis from this list.
