About RAJUVAS Bikaner
Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner was established on May 13, 2010 in Bikaner under the section of the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Act, 2010. RAJUVAS Bikaner is accredited by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). RAJUVAS Bikaner college has also been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university was established to plan, initiate, guide, coordinate, and monitor research in the field of Veterinary and Animal Science. RAJUVAS Bikaner courses are offered in the disciplines of Veterinary Science at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level degrees consisting of B.V.Sc, M.V.Sc, Diploma and Ph.D degree programmes.
RAJUVAS Bikaner college conducts the Rajasthan Pre-Veterinary Test (RPVT) exam and also accepts a valid National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) scorecard for admission to the Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & AH) and a Pre PG Entrance Exam for the Master of Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc) course. Additionally, a Pre P.hD entrance test is conducted for RAJUVAS Bikaner admissions to Ph.D. programmes. A total of seven veterinary institutions are constituent colleges of RAJUVAS Bikaner while four veterinary colleges in Rajasthan are affiliated to the university. RAJUVAS Bikaner also offers a two year long Animal Husbandry Diploma Programme (AHDP) in 75 different institutes.
