48 MonthsB.A. (Hons.) Political Science or Bachelor of Arts Honours in Political Science is an undergraduate Political Science course. Political science is a social science concerned with the study of the state, government and politics; it deals extensively with the theory and practice of politics and the analysis of political systems and political behaviour. B.A. is generally three academic year degree course. B.A. (Hons.) Political Science prepares graduates to perform entry-level work for government agencies, research groups, and consulting firms. This degree equips graduates for jobs in budget analysis, public relations, and political research.
Eligibility Criteria
Any 12th passed with 50% (for SC/ST/OBC 45%)
Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.
Lateral Entry
Students should have successfully completed a certificate, diploma or degree program as defined by NEP 2020 to seek admission into Semester 3, Semester 5 and Semester 7, respectively, of NEP based four-year undergraduate program post completion of exit formalities at undergoing college/ university.
Students can seek lateral entry into a program till the validity of their credits on ABC, which is 7 years. Students shall be allowed lateral entry in the streams/ subjects already pursuing.
