The Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar was established in the year 2015 under the Punjab Government Act. The SBBS University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).  The University is accredited with a B+ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
