The highest salary package offered is 28 LPA, the average salary package offered is 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. LNT and Unicor are the top recruiting companies. Top roles offered to the students are site engineer, design engineer, etc. Students who scored above 7.5 CGPA in their academics can be able to get an internship in LNT, and students who scored above 6 CGPA in their academics can be able to get in My Home Constructions.

As you have mentioned that you have secured 3232 rank which is quite high. Here is the cut-off ranks for sastra university Thanjavur campus in previous years.

For stream 1

cse-less than 650

ece-less than 800

eee-1100

mech-1100

ict,it-1300

others below 2100 at max

But if you are from tamilnadu state then under state Quota you can get all branches except cse,ece. However, cutoffs change every year with respect to the level of exam and the no of candidates.

EEE students are eligible for all IT companies in SASTRA UNIVERSITY.

Coming to package the minimum salary will be 3.4 lakhs per annum.

It's up to u to be work hard to get higher package.

Core companies like TATA COMMUNICATIONS, L&T with 5.5 lakhs packages are available . Business companies like FIDELITY INVESTMENTS, LATENT VIEW with packages of 4 lakhs will also be available.

Dear candidate

The core companies that come for recruiting mechanical engineers are very low only few people in mechanical engineering gets recruited because there is a lot of competition and you need to have a lot of technical knowledge and if your performance is excellent then only you will get recruited and although there is 90 percent placements in sastra University the people who get recruited in core companies are very less and highest package offered for mechanical engineering in sastra University is 7 lack per anum.
