Sri Guru Ram Das University of Health Sciences (SGRDUHS) Amritsar was established in 2016 and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a grade of 'A' in 2017. The SGRDUHS is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and approved by UGC. The university offers various courses in multiple fields at four levels including diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D.courses.
The courses available at Sri Guru Ram Das University of Health Sciences include Diploma, MBBS, B.Sc, BPT, M.Sc, B.Sc Nurs/Post B.Sc Nurs, M.D/M.S, and Ph.D. Before applying for a desired course, candidates should meet the SGRDUHS eligibility criteria. Admission to SGRDUHS Amritsar is through entrance examination which includes NEET UG/NEET PG or equivalent examination. The SGRDUHS admissions will be based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination and performance in past academics. The SGRDUHS Amritsar has a separate placement cell on campus to handle all the placement activities.
