72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time Doctoral program and it is offered by the Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate seeking admission into Ph.D, should have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 55% marks in the concerned subject. Relaxation of 5% in marks is provided for SC/ST/Differently-abled candidates for admission into Ph.D courses under SKURESCET Candidates who have already passed the qualifying examination or who have appeared for the final semester of the qualifying examination are eligible to apply.
Admission Details
The Admission to Ph.D course is through a University level entrance test called "Sri Krishnadevaraya Univesity Research Common Entrance Test"(SKURESCET), conducted by the Directorate of Admissions, Sri Krishnadevaraya Univesity Seats are filled by the Convener of SKURESCET based on the ranks secured in SKURESCET and as per the rules of reservation in force.
