About SSSIHL Prasanthi Nilayam
In 1981, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning Prasanthi Nilayam was established giving a unique vision, mission, and philosophy to higher education. One that over the past several decades has molded generations of students who would be responsible citizens with an ideal blend of knowledge, compassion leading to balance and skills. His life and message is inspiring millions of people throughout the world to lead more purposeful and moral lives. The university provides a holistic framework of interpersonal development for its students to reach academic excellence.
The courses offered in different branches of study at the Institute are as follows: Engineering and Architecture, Physics, Sciences, Education, and others. Candidates are offered SSSIHL courses at the undergraduate level, and postgraduate levels. Some of the SSSIHL courses are Diploma, B.Com(Hons)., B.A.(Hons)., B.B.A., B.Sc.(Hons)., B.Ed., M.B.A., M.E/M.Tech., M.Sc. Ph.D. and others with specialisations. Apart from these candidates are also offered placement opportunities, awards, and necessary basic amenities.
Selected candidates are assigned jobs and responsibilities through SSSIHL placements. Eligible students are encouraged and trained in such a way that they can handle the tasks which are assigned to them during their employment services. Boys' hostels, Girls' hostels, auditorium, and wifi are some of the facilities available at the Institute. Some other SSSIHL facilities include are Library which has reference books, e-books, CDs, DVDs, and others, and Laboratories which provide practical experience with the theoretical subjects. Medical services when the need for first aid arises.

The infrastructure and facilities are fantastic.The quality of food, medical, sports and games facilities all are excellent. We have regular exercise timings, compulsory game timings as well as extracurricular activities as part of the course.

Excellent insfratacture for science labs, extensive computer sessions to all the students, a big three-storey library in men's campus with various current journals, magazines and books that are maintained on a regular basis. The students are given free, quality Medicare at Sri Sathya Sai general hospital throughout their stay during the hostel. It is an all boarding university, thus food is given in the hostel mess. Food is very good, with lots of variety catering to the diverse taste buds of students. The only issue I faced was slow speed of Wi-Fi.
I liked the college as I wanted that kind of atmosphere.

College Infrastructure
Infrastructure is world-class for a B.Com Hons program. The library has good books and equipment for all the learning required by a student. Sports centres are very good as well. All the equipment available at the college is usable and up to date.
