Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence (SSSUHE) was legally established in 2019 at Navanihal, Karnataka. This comparatively young university’s mission is the education of the population with emphasis on human values. Located in a 50 acre land, SSSUHE provides a wide spectrum of programmes of study in multiple fields totaling 31 courses and 7 degree programmes. The university has a teaching faculty of 65 members, which gives students great opportunities for attracting academic focus and support.

In order to achieve its objectives, SSSUHE is focusing on offering modern infrastructure to facilitate improved learning among students. Science students are well provided for through individual labs for Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology in the campus. Modern Computer Centre and Learning Resource Centre along with well equipped library and information centre facilitate the academics of all the disciplines. The furniture and the presentation aids such as projectors, speakers, speakers, and internet connectivity are modern to improve learning activity. To make sure the best health of the students as well as other members of the community, SSSUHE has an 8-bed health care centre with 24-hour medical care.

The university has a large number of 31 programmes in different field of study, degree programmes for the Arts, Science and Performing Arts at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The most popular programmes are BA in Vedic Studies, BPA in Carnatic and Hindustani Vocal, different combinations of B.Sc, and MA History, English, Sanskrit, and Economics. It also offers spot admission like B.P.E.S (Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports) & certain Masters in Arts courses like Carnatic Vocal and Hindustani Vocal. All the courses taken at the university are full time and the school seeks to offer an all-round education to its students.

Like most universities, SSSUHE has a centralised admission system that mainly depends on entrance examination. Applicants of the university are expected to sit for an exam set by the university to test their ability and knowledge in the required courses. This helps prevent the university from enroling students that are not suited for the programmes they interested in or those that cannot handle the tasking academic demands of the University. This university also accepts the NEET UG scores offer the medical programme in the Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Chikkaballapur.

SSSUHE has a vision of a comprehensive development of its students, which is why they provide education together with extra curriculum activities. The university has a 10 acre sports complex with volley ball and basket ball courts, indoor and outdoor sports fields and games arena. This emphasis on physical education complements their B.P.E.S programme of study and helps prepare students to acquire theory and hands on training in the area of sports and physical education. Being a developing university, modern physical infrastructure is gradually being created, where, among other facilities, the construction of an auditorium with a capacity of more than 2000 seats for cultural and academic performances is being implemented, which will add to the attractiveness of studying at SSSUHE.
