St. Joseph University, Dimapur was founded in the year 2016 by DMI Foundations. The university Private University Established Under Nagaland Government Act No.6 of 2016.  The university is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, and is recognised by the University Grants Commission. St. Joseph University, Dimapur spreads over 33 acres of land.
