Surya World University, Patiala was established in 1990. Surya World University, Patiala is a state-private university approved as per Union Grants Commission norms. The college offers different courses in two distinct levels. Surya World University offers B.E/B.Tech, B.Arch, BCA, BBA, B.Pharma, B.Com, B.Sc, BHM. as undergraduate courses. And M.E/M.Tech, MBA, and MCA as postgraduate degrees. Admission into UG courses is given based on merit acquired in the qualifying examination. Whereas admission into B.E/B.Tech programme is done based on JEE Main scores, NATA scores are considered for B.Arch admission, CAT/MAT/XAT scores are considered for admission into MBA and MCA Programmes and M.E/M.Tech admissions are given based on valid GATE scores.
