Swarrnim Startup & Innovation University (SSIU), Gandhinagar was established in 2017. Swarrnim University is managed by Gyaprasad Jain Charitable Trust. It has been approved by the Government of Gujarat under the Gujarat Private University Act No. 10 of 2017. SSIU offers courses at diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in multiple specialisations throughout its constituent schools such as Swarrnim Institute of Technology, Swarrnim Institute of Design, Swarrnim School of Business, Swarrnim School of Science and Swarrnim Institute of Health Sciences. Admissions at SSIU are entrance-based and based on the last qualifying exam.

SSIU Gandhinagar has a training and placement cell which handles the entire placement process. The university has achieved 100% placements over the past five years. The highest national and the highest international salary packages stood at Rs. 30 LPA and Rs. 48 LPA respectively.
