Course Overview

The Antivaccination and Vaccine Hesitancy online course will help you understand two complicated issues: vaccine hesitancy and antivaccination, and the reasons behind them. You will also learn how to respond to antivaccination claims. You will understand the science behind vaccination and in turn, understand why vaccines are effective and safe.

The Antivaccination and Vaccine Hesitancy program will also examine the most common vaccination myths and antivaccination persuasion strategies. These myths mostly involve stories about vaccines causing autism in children and claim that too many vaccines can overload and overwhelm children’s immune systems. There are even far-fetched controversies and claims that the only purpose vaccines serve is to make money for Big Pharma, doctors, and governments.

The Antivaccination and Vaccine Hesitancy training will also prepare you with practical strategies to address any doubts expressed by friends, relatives, or hesitant patients, about vaccines and vaccination. You will learn about the leading and latest research on vaccine refusal and all about their findings. Developed by the University of Queensland, the training runs at a scheduled pace.
