The course gives in-depth knowledge regarding biomedical imaging technologies and the information they give to medical professionals. These days imaging technologies are forming an important component of all developed economies' health budgets, the need for these advanced imaging technologies such as CT scans, MRIs, and X-rays during people’s lives is increasing. The course Introduction to Biomedical Imaging provides a basic understanding of modern imaging modalities and biomedical imaging.
