Course Overview

Bioinformatics is one of the fastest developing industries in today’s world and has already secured an excellent position in the medical field. Its uses and functions have spanned into many fields including forensic science, medicine manufacturing, and now even the strings of our lives, DNA.

For people who wish to make something for themselves in the medical field, a certificate of Bioinformatics from a renowned program will go a long way in ensuring their goal. That’s where Finding Hidden Messages in DNA (Bioinformatics I) by Coursera comes in.

In this course, a part of a specialisation programme on Bioinformatics will teach the candidates all the basics of computing knowledge and skills in DNA domain, starting with DNA Replication and going forward to circadian rhythm and much more. The course will work majestically for the candidates as it gives them the much required boost, they need to surpass their huge 21st century competition.
