The Post-Graduate Department of Hindi started at Jammu in October 1965 as a Department of Jammu & Kashmir University and as an establishment of a separate University of Jammu in 1969. The Department's endeavors are to encourage and facilitate learners and scholars; with creative zeal to explore new frontiers of knowledge in the fields of Research on Hindi Language and Literature.
Eligibility Criteria
A Candidate seeking admission to the programme must have passed/appeared in the final year of bachelor's degree examination with Hindi as elective/additional subjects or Honours in the Hindi language.
Admission Details
Admission to a programme of study in the University shall be made on the basis of written objective type Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET) by the Admission Committee of the Department concerned with the approval of the Dean Academic Affairs.
