Not by default, however, this depends on the university which may choose to accept the certification for credit. Candidates must confirm the same from their university.

This depends on the type of enrollment. Audit mode gives free access to course material. Graded assignments and certification can only be availed after purchasing the course.

3: Do the assignments have to comply with plagiarism guidelines?

Yes, some assignments have an option to check plagiarism and candidates will be able to see the "Check for Plagiarism" button at the bottom of their screen after uploading their assignment. There can be unlimited re-checks.
