Eligibility Criteria

Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child

The value of the scholarship is Rs.36,200 p.a for a period of two years only 

Open for girl students up to the age limit of 30 years.

Should be the single girl child of the family.

The candidate must have taken admission in the first year of a regular, full-time PG course in any recognised university or a post-graduate college.

Post-Graduate Merit Scholarship for University Rank Holder

Each awardee under the scheme is provided with a scholarship of Rs.3,100 p.m. for a period of two years 

Graduate in life sciences, chemical sciences, physical sciences, mathematical sciences, earth sciences, social sciences, languages and commerce streams.

First and second rank holders at the undergraduate level and enrolled in a full-time, regular master’s degree programme at a recognised university/college.

The age of the candidate must not be more than 30 years.

Minimum marks in graduation should be 60%.

Post Graduate Scholarships for Professional Courses for SC/ST Candidates

Rs.3000 per month and contingency grant of Rs.10,000 p.a for the duration of the PG scholarship for other courses.  

Students who are pursuing the first year of the professional course at the postgraduate level from a recognised university/institution/college.

Ishan Uday for North Eastern Region (NER)

An amount of Rs. 5400 p.m. for general degree courses and Rs. 7800 p.m. for Technical & Professional courses are given through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the beneficiary student.

Students having domicile of North Eastern Region (NER) state who have completed their class XIIth or equivalent.

Candidates must have secured admission in a technical, professional or general degree course at a recognised institute/college/university.

The annual income of the family does not exceed Rs.4.5 Lakhs per annum from all sources.
