72 MonthsPh.D. programme in English shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned and it is offered by Vidya University, Meerut.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible for applying for admission to Ph.D. Degree, the applicant, should have:
- Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. program shall have a Master's degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master's degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 60 % marks or with an Aggregate CGPA of 6.5 on a scale of 10 (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
Admission Details
- Vidya Research Aptitude Test (VRAT) - a written test conducted by the University.
- Candidates who have cleared the NET or UGC/CSIR (JRF) /ICAR or SLET/GATE/Teacher Fellowship holder shall be exempted from the written test during the period of validity of the concerned test.
