college have good infrastructural facilities like the other nits of the colleges. We have the necessary buildings and those in excess too. I felt we have good infrastructural facilities because there are buildings seperate for each purpose. sports complex is really a complex one with multipurpose. hostels are good with wifi facilities.
am an architectural student. We have enough freedom in the classroom, but that doesnt mean we are actually free. They are continuously packing us with loads of works for each day. Professors are really friendly and interactive so that academics becomes easier. curriculum is not changed from years, Its the same as the previous years.
The quality of placement in the college is good. Compared to the engineering course students the architectural students have less chance of placement. Last year there was only 2 companies than came for the campus recruitment. With intake of just 7-8 students. The placement cell in the college is easy and pleasant.
value for money is adjustible, the fees is nearly same for all the nits. We have enough facilities as of the other colleges too. The tuition fee for the architecture course is 66,850 per semester and for hostel fees is 35,000 per semester.
Campus life is interesting, we usually goes atleast twice a week for outing. There are enough and more restaurants, hotels and other places for time pass. college is also a space for grouping as there are enough space. location is safe from other parts of the country. this area is really a calm and peace. the professors are interactive. There are also many activities apart from the academics which a student can excell their talents. There are clubs for each and every activities in the college ..
infrastructure in the college is good. There are also good facilities in all the buildings. Library is a seperate big complex, It is completely digitalised and have a computer labin it. There is also much space for group study. Sports complex is for indoor games. WE have space for tt, badminton, chess, carroms, yoga. There is also a big ground with most of the games.
Professors are very chill for our course. They are also well experienced and most of them are graduated from the same college. So they can well understand the students. students are in good interactions with the professors. Curriculum is not updated but comparatively it is easy than the previous year.
quality of placement is less for our course. last year only 6 students were placed. The average package is about 5-6 lakhs per annum. There are only one or two company visiting the college. I will be mostly going for the masters after the graduation, my friends are also doing the same.
For architecture, the tuition fee is 66,850 and the hostel fees is 40,000 per semester. We feel the academics is good and we are getting worth out of it. Then we also have good facilities in the college and premises which gives the moneys worth. I think both engineering and architecture students have the same fee structure.
Campus life is good. We have good space in the college for gathering and spending time with friends and other groups. There are several clubs in the college which also conducts variety of pragrammes which aree the time to enjoy the college. The main problem we face is the lack of time we have class from 8 to evening 6.
our department infrastructure have a shape of horizontality. And these departmental buildings are old. All the departmental have the same plan and elevation. This gives a sense of repition in the design of the campus departments. Whereas the newly built crc and the hostel shows verticality and they have inculcated good facilities in them.
Am studying for architecture course. The professors are very chill and motivating. There are atleast 4 professors in a studio class with 2 main professors and 2 assistant professor and other phd scholars. The quality of teaching is good and curriculum is also good. the load of works for us is the main problem.
Actually we dont have placements, roughly one or two companies visit for campus placement for archtiecture course and they take only 7-8 students atmost. most of them prefer to start a firm individualy or in a group and others are trying to go for the masters and then set their future.
The course fee is the same as for the engineering students we have a tuition fee of 65k and hostel fee of 40k per semester. yeah, we do get the moneys worth in academics and quality of teaching but the problem we face is lack of time and enjoyment. There are a lot of works to complete daily.
Campus life is good as far as we get a long week or some holidays, the rest days we will have to do with the sheets and models. Still we have good freedom in the classroom and studios unlike the engineering students. We are allowed to use the mobiles during the class hours. Some works are also done through the mobiles. Nagpur city is a calm and peace place. Yeah, sure it can handle emergencies.
yeah, infrastructure is good. our college have all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipments. THere is big classroom complex where all the students of the college can occupy the seats. It is a newly built complex, with wifi facilities. we have a good library and sports grounds. sports complex is built near to the ground.
teachers are good and practical. They teach only what is necessary and do not compell anyone in studying. most of the teachers are highly experienced. They have been here from their graduation and promoted to the same teaching field with their professors. curriculum need updation. There are lot of topics to study in 1st year.
placement is poor for our course in this college. whereas other courses gets good placement and placement packages our course is lagging in it with a low placement percentage. We need to have more companies to come to college for the placement of civil engineers.
am studying for the civil engineering course. The tuition fee is around 1,30,000 per annum and hostel fees is around 40,000 per semester. I get my moneys worth from the college. There is enough and more facilities provided by the college to the students but many of them are not using it well. Library, gym, sports etc are good here.
campus life is excellent. We get a lot of time for the enjoyement. Most them keep accurate attendance percentage of 75 and bunks the extra classes for the touring. Since the nagpur is at the central part, its easy to move to other areas. college celebrations are the best time for the enjoyment...
college infrastructure is good. We have here a lot of big structural building seperate for each department and each purpose. The facilities provided are good to the mark, hostels are newly built and have enough space and facilities we have table tennis, carrom and badminton facilities other than the usual facilities in the hostel. library is a big builging and also is easily accessible.
professors are good, experienced and interactive. Since they are in good relationship with us we often dont face any difficulty is asking the doubts with the professors. They are highly helpful and dedicated. Am studying for the chemical engineering course and our curriculum need updation some of the content is actually not necessary fo rthe course.
We have a good placement in our college. Next to the computer science engineering we stand in place of the placements. The placement cell is active and enthusiastic. Alumni strenghth also helps in bringing good companies to the campus. average placement for our course is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.
The course fee is same almost in every nit. our tuition fee per semester is about 66,850 and the hostel fees is about 4000 per semester. we get almost every facilities inthe campus. There is a good sports ground. excellent library with computer lab and easily accessible facilities,, a gym complex etc.
friends are the major part in the campus life. We often go for every activities that takes place in the college, which means if we know or do not know just participate, make fun and come back. There are many clubs in the college which conducts many activities in the college which are the major occasions for the celebration.
we have a good inrastructure in the college, the mains buildings are newly built or either modified. It gives a clear view of maintanence of the college. Even the hostel is newly built 10 flooreyed structure with a capacity of more than 800 students. There is good library which is also a big building having a lot more books than other colleges with all time wifi and completely digitalised.
The professors are highly experienced and graduated for our course. They are also permanet staffs for the branch. There will be more than two professors along with a senior mentor for each class, if the class is taken by a new professor, along with him there will be a main professor for checking th equality of teaching. they also take care in making the students understand the topic well.
Placements for our course is low better saying is nil. there is barely one company that visits the college every year with an intake of about 4-5 students. Most students prefer to take job outside after graduation or do post graduation.
We have to spend much more money than the other course students for the stationary items and other equipments for the architecture course which is very costly other than the tuition fee of 66,850 and the hostel fee of 40,000 per semester. We dont get as much benefits as we expect.
Campus life is well good and thrilling as always for an institutions like the nits. The campus is much big and have all sort of basic facilities. the sport ground have much of the game space and there is also a sports building for indoor sports. The staff members are well supportive for the students in the college and they are chill too.
Infrastructure is not good. There are lot many spaces that are underdeveloped in the campus. Many of the inner part of the campus is not clean and maintained well. The bushes that are planted should be well taken care and trimmed periodically. The entrance of college and other mains areas are kept clean.
The quality of teaching is okay. Few of the professors are good and give quality teachings but the rest are just new to the college and the course of teaching. The curriculum is not updated according to the present scenario. There are much load for the students. The labs are outdated and equipements are not working properly.
The placement is pretty good. The placement cell here is better than the other college of the same preference. Not everyone in the course gets sure placements. The average package for the material and metallurgical department is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.
THe fees we pay for the education and hostel facilities is actually a much big price. We dont get that sort of quality education as well as the equipments for the lab facilities are also too old that maybe either bent or make creaky noices, some of them even dont work properly. The hostel food is also not that what we expect from the hostel fees we pay.
The teachers are supportive and is not much strict in the class as well as in the campus. the college campus is so big and we have a good space in the campus. library is also good. with much space for combined studies and also have a computer lab in them. There are many programmes in the college which is a festival for all of us.
The wifi facilities are not so good. Connection are not consistent and some time even we dont get them for days when we will be having much assignments and exams.
college have a very good infrastructure. The office building in the mains entrance itself gives a look of a professional college. The hostels are new for the first years which is a 10 flooreyed structure and the rest hostels are also well not so old. The classroom complex, The sports complex, The library are all well designed and is functioning well. The hostel have wifi facilities but the data speed is slow.
The professors for the Electronics and communication engineering is well experienced and are highly graduated. The lectures are of good standard and they were able to clear the doubts that arise in the minds of the students. The problems comes with the curriculum which is updated a long year back i guess. The syllabus is very tight and hard for us to swallow.
I felt that the placements are not good to the standards. The other colleges of the same standards are able to give higher packages with 100 percentage placement for the students. When they have even the foreign companies and well branded companies we still move on with the same companies that visits the previous years for the past many years. The average package is around 4-5 lakhs per annum.
I never felt like we are getting the benefit of the money we pay. The tuition fee as well as the hostel fee is high as for a government funded institutions like nit. Infact i didnt expect we will need to pay the fees while studying hard for the jee mains exam. Still we pay the cost, there should be much more development for the student entertainment.
Above all, The campus life is excellent and unforgettable. Leave about the college campus, we still have so many places here to visit and enjoy the leisure time. The campus is surrounded by the main nagpur town. There are so many shops, parks, theatres, shopping malls, etc. Also the campus is of large area and have an excellent ecosystem prevailing.
campus is clean and hygience with lots of workers hired for each and every purpose. there is also 2 electric buses in the campus for the transportation of the students from hostel to various buildings.
the college infrastructure is excellent and the most building are new and have good facilities in them. The mechanical department building is an old one but it has a good charm of the college. The library is a big builiding with all books related to the education. sports centres is also well developed with level grass planted in them.
I am studying for the mechanical department as far as my department is concerned the course professors are being borrowed from the other department for our year. the professors are not our permanent professors. the curriculum is not yet updated since long i think so. The course is comparatively a bit tougher than the other courses.
Placements are good. There are many foreign companies visiting our college for the campus placements, many of the students get a good placement packages . But there are someof them who get a package less than the average -college package. the average package for our department is around 7-8 lakhs per annum.
I dont think I get the value for the money. First of all I belong to a general cagegory and my annual income is highrer than 5 lakhs per annum so i dont get any scholarship from the college. Then the course fee and hostel fee is higher than the private institutions, while this college is a government funded institution it is necessary to provide education for less cost but the fees are much more than expected.
I feel the campus life excellent. I can enjoy well with my friends all around the campus. the campus is green with many trees and natural life all around. The town is nearby to hangover with friends. hostel life is excellent and its the biggest of all i enjoy here.
the infrastructure here is really remarkable, we have here new buildings with good facilities and space for the students. The first year hostel, classroom complex are all new buuidings built recently. The departments of each course are old and need renewment. But the design of all department are similar which gives a good feel of tradition. We have a well standard sports complex too.
The syllabus for architecture is really old and really basics. We do have equal examinations like those of engineering and still we have a lot of work which will not get over even the night before the examination. There is no such time for the enjoyement as far as we are considered due to extreme load of works. Still we are having much freedom in the class and during the studio hours. Which is really stress free.
There is no such placement for the architecture in this college barely one or two companies visits the college every year for this course. Also they intake just fewer than 5 or six and also the placement package is also too less to that of the engineering students. Most students prefer masters or go for job opportunities outside after graduation.
the value of money is not felt if we are having much load. though the course fee as well as the hostel fees are similar to that of engineering students and is also similar to other colleges of the same standard or tag nit. the tuition fee is about 66,850 whereas the hostel fee is 40,000 per semester. There are also situations that we should spend much money for the equipements for the work which will be around 15,000 per year.
As far as the overall campus life is considered, I felt this college is a place for it, other than the load of the academics there are much more places to visit here and the campus is green lush which always lets us hangout the whole night gossipping with each other. The transportation facility is also good here. there are also many shopping malls which is a place for our leisure time.
smart classrooms are completely air conditioned but other studios and halls arent air conditioned. The college is in good support to many competitions, meets and other extra curricular activities which is a time for the celebration.

Hi
hope you doing well
Having a rank of approx 41000 and considering you belong to the OBC-NCL category with Maharashtra as your home state, you have a good chance of securing admission in the CSE branch at some IIITs and VNIT (Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology) through the home state quota.
You may consider these colleges:
IIIT Nagpur: Closing ranks for CSE are generally around 40,000–60,000 for OBC-NCL candidates. You have a good chance here.
IIIT Pune: CSE closing ranks are usually within your range, so you might get admission.
CSE at VNIT Nagpur: Closing ranks for CSE are generally around 25,000–35,000 for OBC-NCL candidates. Your rank may be a bit on the higher side, but it's still worth considering later rounds or CSAB special rounds.

Hi there,
Hope you are doing fine.
Both the colleges mentioned above are the top engineering colleges.
You can pursue your studies from any of the above mentioned institutions and can excel further in your carrer.
But choosing one between the two depend on the field and stream you want to study in the future. You can visit the official website of both the colleges and can get an information about the previous year cutoff and the placement records of both the colleges and the academic facilities there and then can choose between the one depending on which suits you the most. You can also contact with their senior students and the alumni and can know about the college and the environment there and many more.
Hope this resolves your query.
