1: Is this a standalone certification or a part of a series?

This training is a part of the Micro Masters program that contains two more courses and a capstone project. 

2: Can I take the capstone project and test after finishing this course?

No. To take the capstone project and final exam, students will have to finish all three Micro Masters courses and obtain a verified certificate in all of them.

3: Is the course available in all countries?

Unfortunately no. Even though Edx attempts to make its courses available worldwide, this course is not available in select countries due to the lack of licenses. The countries where the course is not available are Cuba, Iran, and the Crimea region of Ukraine.

4: Does this course have similarities to the 'Bio based Principles and Opportunities' course?

Yes, this course contains select materials from that course along with a few modules. Also, the 'Biobased Principles and Opportunities' program will no longer be available. 

5: Is this an introductory course that anyone can enroll in?

No, this is an advanced-level course, and candidates who wish to join must have studied till B.Sc. degree in Chemistry, maths, technology, applied sciences, or engineering.
