Candidates who wish to pursue this course should have completed 2-3 years of Italian at the high school level or 2-3 semesters of Italian at the college level.

Certification Qualifying Details

Course certificate for the AP® Italian Language and Culture course will be awarded to the participants upon securing an average score of 60 percent in all self-assessment activities and payment of certificate fees.

Step 6: If they want a certificate, they have to pay the certification fees to continue further and if they choose to audit the course they will be given instant access to the course.

1: How will the certificate issued by Wellesley College be beneficial for me?

Participants can add the certificate to their school transcript or they can show it to any educational institution or recruiter as recognition of their accomplishment and language proficiency.

2: How do I activate my account?

Post-registration, participants will be sent an activation email at the email address given during registration. They have to click upon the link to activate their account.

3: Can I merge accounts?

edX does not allow the participants to merge their accounts. It does not support the use of multiple accounts.

4: What if I do not pass in a course?

In case the participants are not able to score the grade required for getting a verified certificate, they can enrol for a future session only upon payment of the verified certificate fee again.

5: Is a letter grade given with a course certificate?

The course certificate is given by edX to the participants who complete an ID Verified course by securing the minimum passing score. It does not include a letter grade.

6: Can the participants share their course on social media?

The course can be shared by the participants on social media sites like Twitter and Facebook. The option of sharing the course is given on the dashboard.

7: What is the refund policy?

Refunds can be given to the participants only if they unenroll from the course within 14 days of their purchase date or 14 days after the course starts and course certification has not been given.

8: What is the security code?

The Security code on the payment form means the CVV or CVC number is given on the back panel of the credit card. In the case of American Express cards, it is given on the front.

9: Can learners with disabilities access the course?

Courses provided by edX are accessible by all the learners, irrespective of any disability the learner might have.

10: How is identity verification done?

Identity verification can be done by the participants by taking a picture of themselves and a picture of any identification proof from their smartphone or computer.
