36 MonthsB.Sc. Fire Safety and Hazard Management is a undergraduate Social Work Course. Safety is connected with the lives and property of people and the general situation of reform, development and stability. Safety training in its proper application can dramatically reduce maintenance costs, increase safety performance, prevent loss of time and accidents and enhance productivity. Course is concerned with the study of fire, its development and prevention, and the means by which its consequences may be reduced to a minimum in human, environmental and financial terms. Students are provided with a broad and rigorous program of vocationally relevant and applied study in the fields of Fire Safety and Engineering and Management. Through the program, students intellectual development and their familiarity with the industry is enhanced and extended in order to produce competent and resourceful individuals able to arrive at Fire Safety solutions to Engineering, Technological, Organizational and Managerial problems.
A person, who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) with science stream or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
