WBJEE 2024 College Predictor

There are three categories of WBJEE Cut Off for the year 2024:

1. Eligibility Cut Off: This is the minimum score necessary to be eligible to take the WBJEE exam. Students must have achieved a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and other major subjects in their 10+2 examinations.

2. Qualifying Cut Off: This represents the minimum mark required to pass the WBJEE examination. Students must meet this cut-off to become eligible for admission to various colleges in West Bengal.

3. Admission Cut Off: Admission rounds will be conducted at participating institutes based on the WBJEE 2024 qualifying marks and merit. These institutes will publish branch-wise and category-wise opening and closing ranks to determine admission eligibility.

The eligibility criteria of jee mains are as follows -

• Candidates should pass from any recognised board or University in their class 12th.
• Candidates should opt for physics chemistry and mathematics as mandatory subjects in their class 12th.
• Candidates should secure a minimum of 75 percentage in their class 12th.

So if you 2024 examination and marksheet is considered then you can give two more attempts in jee mains

i checked and last year's and previous cutoffs- 2018 2017 for mechanical end around 7000 even after 3 rounds for Jadavpur University. so i think your rank of 11855 will have a very little chance.

As you will be knowing that each participating college of WBJEE will release separate cut off lists for different courses.

The cut off list will contain minimum marks, opening and closing ranks for all categories in different colleges.

Factors Affecting WBJEE Cut Off:

• Number of students who appear for exam
• Level of difficulty of exam
• Total number of seats aavailable

As per as your rank there is a chance of getting IT in Heritage Institute of Technology. It seems a bit difficult for CSE. If you belong to SC/ST or any other backward category then you have a good chance of getting both the branches.

Your chances are more of getting IT as per as previous year's Cutoffs trends also.

Heritage institute is a very good college and has a very good reputation. Though there is no separate reservation for obc category students in heritage college so you will get admission on your general category rank only. Also if you belong to west Bengal then home state quota will also apply to you . And with that you will get admission in this college with a very good branch. Without Home state quota also you will get admission but then you will only get a very lower branch.

You can try at best private colleges that take admission through wbjee like iem, techno , Netaji Subhash engineering college, bp poddar institute of technology, heritage.

You can also try at government colleges like purulia government college, coochbehar government college.
