Is my fathers aadhar card is mandatory during college admission or during other courses .

Prachi Kumari 22nd Sep, 2024

Hello,

No, your father's Aadhaar card is not typically mandatory for college admissions or other courses. Admissions primarily require your own Aadhaar card, along with documents like birth certificates, mark sheets, and identity proofs.

In some cases, parents' documents, including Aadhaar, may be requested for financial assistance or scholarships, but they are not a universal requirement for admission.

Hope it helps !

Im filling CTET form 2024 where my college name is not showing in the list. I check the college name on the NCTE site the name was not there but on examination regulatory authority site name was showing. now what to do should I move for the option showing in the list of CTET form "OTHERS"

Prachi Kumari 22nd Sep, 2024

Hello,

If your college name is not listed in the CTET 2024 form but is shown on the Examination Regulatory Authority site and not on the NCTE site, you can choose the "OTHERS" option in the form.

However, it's important to confirm whether your college is recognized by NCTE, as CTET eligibility requires recognition from NCTE-approved institutions.

After selecting "OTHERS," you may need to provide additional details or clarification in the form. To be certain, it’s a good idea to contact CTET support or your college administration to clarify the eligibility before proceeding.

Hello,

If you haven't registered for the NEET management quota in Telangana, your options may be limited.

Typically, admission to medical colleges under management quota requires prior registration.

However, you may still apply through other quotas, such as state or open merit, depending on your NEET score and eligibility. It’s advisable to check with specific colleges or the Telangana State Medical Admission Authority for any potential last-minute opportunities or alternative admission routes. Stay updated on deadlines and procedures to maximize your chances of securing a seat.

Im studying pcbcs, whether instead of math I have cs.can i pursue b.sc cs after 12th

Deepti Singh 22nd Sep, 2024

Hello Sharanya!

Yes, you can do a B.Sc. in Computer Science after your 12th with a PCB combination along with Computer Science but without Mathematics. However, some institutions or colleges do require mathematics eligibility for B.Sc. CS programs, so do keep that in mind as well and check the requirements for the institutions that you are applying to.

If you get into a situation where math is required at many places, you may either opt for institutions that do not require you to have math skills or take up the course at a later stage of life.

Thankyou!

hello this CS exam which is going to conduct is that from government based so that i can get job immediately and also what is syllabus for that

Deepti Singh 22nd Sep, 2024

Hello Alisha!

The CS Exam is conducted by a government-recognized body, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. However, the relation of the CS Exam with immediate Government jobs is no direct correlation. Instead, it is a professional certification to be a Company Secretary in India for the purpose of practicing corporate governance, compliance, and legal advisory.

Of course, besides a lot of private sector opportunities available and afterwards after passing CS exams, employment opportunities in the public sector are also there, although government jobs for Company Secretaries also exist on the platter, predominantly in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) or regulatory bodies like SEBI or RBI, it so does not guarantee an immediate job in the government. Instead, the certifications open doors to numerous career paths in corporate and legal fields.

CS Exam Syllabus:

  • Foundation Level

For students who have completed 12th:

  • Business Environment
  • Business Laws
  • Ethics and Entrepreneurship
  • Business Economics
  • Accounting and Auditing

Executive Level (immediately after Foundation or directly after completing the degree programme):

  • Company Law
  • Securities Laws
  • Tax Laws
  • Corporate Management

Professional Level: Advanced topics in governance, finance, and laws.

Passing all three levels will pave the way to become a qualified Company Secretary.

Thankyou!

I have done my 10th or 12th uttar pardesh madrasa board so how I can take addmission in diploma

Deepti Singh 22nd Sep, 2024

Hello!

You can apply for admission in the diploma course after passing your 10th or 12th through the Uttar Pradesh Madrasa Board, with the following conditions:

  • Check Eligibility: The recognition of your Madrasa Board qualification by the technical or vocational institutes where you wish to join is a must. Diploma courses are usually open to all those who have passed 10th or 12th from a recognized board.

  • Choose Course: Choose the Diploma course you want to opt for, i.e. engineering, pharmacy or some vocational trade. Search for the institutes that deal with your choice of diploma course in UP or other states.

  • Apply to the Institutes: The entry into most of the technical institutes' diploma courses is based on entrance test, JEECUP (Joint Entrance Examination Council, UP) or merit-based direct entry. Fill the test form, if necessary.

  • Documents to Verify: Prepare all your documents, such as madrasa board certificates, mark sheets, and identity proof. Some institutions require equivalence certificates, which state that qualifications through madrasa are equal to the general education.

  • Counseling and Admission: Eligible students will be called for counseling once they get selected by Entrance Examination or through Merit Based. In Counseling, you need to opt for your desired institute and branch.

  • Admission Confirmation: Once you get a seat, then pay the fees and submit all the relevant documents for confirming your admission.

Following this procedure, you will successfully be admitted into a diploma course.

Thankyou!

B pharm lateral entry in Bihar government college

Deepti Singh 22nd Sep, 2024

Hello Prince!

In Bihar, lateral entry into the B. Pharm program is also conducted for the students who are D. Pharm diploma holders. In this way, students enter the course in the second year and gain an extra year by saving the first year. Lateral entry is there into the government and private colleges in the state. Admissions normally take place through the BCECEB.

To make a horizontal entry, a candidate needs to have passed the D. Pharm course with the minimum required percentage from an institution recognized by the PCI, which is around 50-60%. Mainly, the admissions are merit-based or based on the scores of the candidate or performance in entrance exams like the BCECEB Pharmacy Entrance Test.

One of the advantages that lateral entry students attain is finishing their B. Pharm degree course in less time than full-time students, making it a time-saving option for those who already hold their diploma and want to pursue further study in pharmaceutical sciences. Bihar Government colleges ensure relatively less costly education with easy access to well-equipped facilities for both practical and theoretical learning.

Thankyou

Respected Sir/Maam, I have a calculator as FX-991CW. Is it allowed in Mumbai University Engineering Exams?

Ashita Singh 22nd Sep, 2024

Hi ROSHAN,

The use of calculators in engineering exams, including those at Mumbai University, typically depends on the specific guidelines issued by the university or the exam authorities.

Scientific calculators like the Casio FX-991CW are often permitted since they don't have advanced features like graphing, programming, or communication capabilities.

I would recommend you to go through the guidelines  given by your university in respect to this matter.

THANK YOU.

Hello Chethan!

To understand your position concerning the OBC NCL status for GATE 2025, follow these steps:

  • Document Verification: You belong to the Vokkaliga community and come under the 3A category of Karnataka. Collect all relevant documents that prove your claim to being OBC NCL. Your ration card with a rural address can very well become the base proof of your being a rural background.
  • Income Certificate: Obtain an income certificate from your district authority to prove that your family income is less than 8 lakhs per annum. This will be a prime requirement to be eligible to fall in the category of OBC NCL.
  • Changing the Aadhaar Card Address: A person can get his Aadhaar card address changed to reflect the rural address. For the purpose, he needs to start with a visit to the nearest Aadhaar center along with the necessary documents to effectuate the change.
  • Application Support: Provide your credentials in the application to GATE or the concerned institution. Therefore, annex all the relevant documents such as the ration card and income certificate along with your application.
  • Refer Authorities: If you want further support, approach the admission office or the concerned authority in your institution, if any, for more details about your eligibility for OBC NCL.
