A and M Institute of Management and Technology (AMIMT), Pathankot has been recognised in the area of providing education since 2008. The institute is in Pathankot, Punjab, and is near Canada Palace on the Jalandhar-Dalhousie Bye Pass Road. AMIMT is an affiliated college of Patna University and the college provides different faculty and discipline courses also. The campus occupies 1.375 acres of distance, enrolls in total of 303 students, and employs 17 permanent faculty. At present, AMIMT offers 16 courses under eight degree programmes in Management, Information Technology, Commerce, and Agriculture streams. This institute takes quality education as its key focus through offering complete courses and up-to-date facilities.

For the further development of its students, AMIMT has several facilities available to avail. The institute has a library with over 8000 books on different subjects concerning management computers agriculture and economics etc. In the health and wellness category, there is a medical centre with first aid amenities and a fitness centre with all the facilities included. Sports enthusiasts can have regular indoor games as well as outdoor games like table tennis, volleyball basketball, cricket, etc. The college has well-developed IT infrastructure and the campus is in the process of becoming WLAN. Students can eat at the clean canteen which provides a variety of meals. There is a large auditorium for organising academic as well as extracurricular activities, The institute has also separate hostel accommodations for boys and girls to accommodate outstation students comfortably. In addition, AMIMT provides transport services that also help the students as well as staff members to travel with ease.

The institute provides many courses to meet all students’ academic needs and interests. AMIMT offered 16 full-time courses which include undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The course provided covers a wide area of discipline including Computer Application, Business Administration, Commerce, Information Technology, Agriculture, Hotel Management and Medical Laboratory Science and Fashion Technology. Students also have a provision for lateral entry in several study programmes like B.Sc Information Technology which improves the choice for those who wish to attain other certifications. The total number of student intake across all programmes is 303. The courses offered by AMIMT include MCA, BCA, BBA, B.Com (Hons), B.Sc Fashion Technology, B.Sc Information Technology, B.Sc Hotel Management, M.Sc Information Technology, and M.Com
