AANM and VVRSR Polytechnic were established in the year 1981 as an affiliated non-autonomous college, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The Polytechnic had been catering to the needs of technical talent since 1981. Over a vast 10-acre campus, the polytechnic runs varied diploma programs for a student body of 3,463 enrolments. The faculty strength is 60 prudently committed educators, and a decent ratio of students to teachers keeps the proper level of personal attention, thus fostering quality education. AANM and VVRSR Polytechnic differs in providing six diploma courses, framed in a manner to satisfy the rising demand in the technical industry. Holistic learning is ensured by the institute in a well-appointed learning environment with a varied range of facilities. 

The students are allowed to use a well-equipped gymnasiam to continue to develop their bodies to grow with the knowledge. The institute endorses variegated fully-furnished hostels for boys and girls with self-contained facilities like comfortable living rooms, recreation rooms, and rooms for indoor games. The classes are ultramodern, including a fully equipped cafeteria, auditorium for events and seminars, and a health centre with facilities for catering to the needs of first-aid services. 

There are seven full-time diploma programmes, all three years in duration, presently being delivered at AANM and VVRSR Polytechnic under varied engineering tracts, thus giving opportunities for students to inculcate their basics towards technical education. This institute proposes to have an intake capacity of 1,260 students in all programs in total, thus reflecting the technical education being dealt with at a very huge level.
