Abdul Aziz Ansari Degree College was founded in 1996, the affiliated college is situated in Majdeeha, Shahganj, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. This institution recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), has many programmes to support educational needs. The college is endowed with total student population of 566 and faculty and staffs of 22 members to ensure a proper learning environment. The institution teaches 5 courses in 4 programmes with an emphasis on arts, education and home science to signify polymathic academic endeavours. 

Abdul Aziz Ansari Degree College offers many amenities intended to improve the experience of the students within the institution. Sports lovers can henceforth make use of the college’s sports amenities, thus achieving the twin objective of having the body and the brain fashioned. Cultural and academic activities, the college has an auditorium to conduct the students’ activities and seminars. The library is a centre of learning and research and provides reference in the academic activities of students. At present, Abdul Aziz Ansari Degree College has 5 full- time courses which include undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The subject areas that the college offers comprises of – Bachelor in Arts, Bachelor in Education, Diploma in Elementary Education, Master in Urdu, and Master in Home Science. 

The admission process at Abdul Aziz Ansari Degree College differs from one programme to another. The admission procedure for B.Ed and D.El.Ed programmes is fully merit-based depending on the marks scored in the qualifying examination and/ or the entrance test. The college also goes by any other method of selection as may be stipulated by the policy on the state government, U.T. Administration and the university.
