Abdul Aziz Ansari Degree College was founded in 1996, the affiliated college is situated in Majdeeha, Shahganj, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. This institution recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), has many programmes to support educational needs. The college is endowed with a total student population of 566 and a faculty and staff of 22 members to ensure a proper learning environment. The institution teaches 5 courses in 4 programmes with an emphasis on arts, education and home science to signify polymathic academic endeavours. 

Abdul Aziz Ansari Degree College offers many amenities intended to improve the experience of the students within the institution. The admission process at Abdul Aziz Ansari Degree College differs from one programme to another. The admission procedure for B.Ed and D.El.Ed programmes are fully merit-based depending on the marks scored in the qualifying examination and/ or the entrance test. The college also goes by any other method of selection as may be stipulated by the policy of the state government, U.T. Administration and the university.
